Instructions
BOBA (Black Tapioca Pearls):
Start by boiling a pot of water (about 4 cups for every 1 cup of boba).
Add the boba to the pot. Once they float to the top, cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes, or more depending on how soft you want them to be.
Place in ice cold water for about 3 minutes, and then drain.
Add your sweetener of choice ( I like caramel syrup or brown sugar) while it's still a bit warm.
Mix together and allow to cool.
MAKING TEA:
Boil a pot of water or use an electric kettle to heat up about 1 cup of water.
Steep your tea bags of choice for about 4 minutes.
Place tea to the side and allow to cool or serve hot with boba.
BUBBLE MILK TEA:
The final step is to bring it all together.
Add the boba, ice, sweetener, tea, and a splash of milk.
If serving hot, skip the ice
Optional: Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.
Grab your thick straw and enjoy!

Notes
NOTES: If you are making brown sugar milk tea, here's a few alternate steps you can take for the recipe.
Once the boba has cooked through and the water has been drained.
Directly add 1-2 tbsp of brown sugar to the pot.
Allow the sugar to melt and coat the boba.
Mix together and set aside to add to the tea.
