In the mornings when I need a quick pick me up, but I’m a little over the coffee flavor, I make this simple Matcha latte recipe. Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good caramel latte, but sometimes too much coffee can make me a little jittery. So I reach for my Matcha, my milk, and my caramel drizzle, and I have just as much of a pick me up and energy boost but by using a healthier option. Matcha is ground up green tea leaves and it’s packed with so many antioxidants, you don’t even realize how good it is for you.

I love making matcha at home because I can control how strong the flavors are, how sweet it is, and honestly it makes me feel like I have an at home café, and it helps save some money. You can make a small amount or a large cup of Matcha and enjoy it all the same.

Ingredients For Iced Matcha Latte

  • Matcha Powder. My favorite matcha powder to use is Jade Leaf Matcha, and I definitely recommend you try it if this is your first time having matcha.
  • Milk. I like using coconut milk or oat milk for my lattes. Use whatever you prefer.
  • Caramel Syrup. Adds an extra level of sweetness to the latte.
  • Cinnamon. This is optional but I love adding cinnamon to all of my teas and coffee drinks.
  • Water.
  • Ice.

How To Make Iced Matcha Latte

MATCHA: Add 1 tsp of matcha powder and 1/4 cup of warm water. Mix together with a whisk or a frother to combine well.

ICED MATCHA LATTE: Add caramel syrup, cinnamon, ice, and milk to your cup. Then add your matcha mix to your cup. Mix and Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 – 2 tsp Matcha Powder
  • ¼ cup Water warm or cold
  • ½ cup Milk plant based or dairy
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp Caramel syrup
  • Cinnamon sprinkle

Instructions
 

MATCHA

  • Add 1-2 tsp of matcha powder and 1/4 cup of warm water. The amount of matcha powder you add depends on how strong you want your latte to be.
  • Mix together with a whisk or a frother to combine well.

ICED MATCHA LATTE

  • Add caramel syrup, cinnamon, and ice to your cup.
  • Froth your milk and add to cup.
  • Pour your matcha mix, stir together, and Enjoy!
